| Sulvin – A history planted by many hands
Sulvin started work in Flores da Cunha in the uplands of Rio Grande do Sul more than ten years ago. The tradition and experience of its directors in manufacturing, marketing and distributing wines and other
drinks takes one back to the start of the last century.
It all started in the town of São Roque/SP in 1923, when Amaro José Godinho started to plant vines and later to produce and market wines carrying his name.
Amaro Godinho transmitted all his experience of grape growing and wine production to his son Roque Godinho (better known as Roque de Amaro). Roque’s successor, José Eustáquio de Jesus Godinho, continued the family business, and subsequently his son Neimar Godinho, the fourth generation, has been establishing the idea of spreading ever newer ideas in the wine sector and in this way continuing the family tradition through Sulvin. |
