| The business has been owned by the family since 1899. A splendid 100 year old Baumpresse (Austrian type of old basket press made from wood) can be seen on the estate. The firm was run as a mixed business for years, Franz and Monika Schnabl were the first to specialize completely in wine and fruit growing. The vineyards are fertilized biologically with chicken manure. |
