| The estate has been run continuously as a wine-growing firm right up to the present day and in the 20th century it was extended into a wine merchant firm. In 1986 the firm, which has 34 hectars of vineyards in Fels, was taken over by Schloß Fels GmbH (Fels Castle) and converted into an exemplary quality firm. In 1987 27 hectars of vineyards located on the terraces in Rohrendorf an der Donau were purchased. |
