| The Weiss family have been involved in the wine-growing business for generations; the firm itself was actually only founded in 1963 by Johann Wess who began then with bottling wines and his own distribution and marketing. His daughter Christine was the Burgenland and Austrian wine queen between 1992 and 1994. |
