| The wine-terraces of the Steinwandl winery are mostly seen as mountain vineyards with 30-40% incline. These terraces are made of conglomerate rocks and protected by rock walls that store the day's heat and give it off again at night, which makes a special kind of microclimate which, in combination with the rock soils, make fine, spicy wines with decent typical character. |
