| As local documentation proves, the Gerold wine-growing estate dates back to 1750 and is therefore the oldest family business in Gösing. The location of Gösing is situated slightly above Wagram and looks down on the neighbouring towns of Fels and Feuersbrunn as well as being about 10km as the crow flies from the Danube. As a result of this geographically positive position a large proportion of the vineyards are on light southern slopes. This supports the optimal ripeness of the grapes and protects them from frost as well. |
