| The vineyard has been grown into a pure monoculture over the last few decades. As a result the vines are more susceptible to disease and pests. Methods of plant protection must therefore be continually used, whereby the causes of disease and the pests develop increasing resistance and larger volumes of pesticide have to be used. Rudolf Tschida is trying to break through this vicious circle by using humus and measures to promote soil life. |
