| The new Winery Fasol Menin is a modern made structure in wood and bricks. It is located in the heart of Valdobbiadene the country of the Prosecco Valdobbiadene Conegliano DOC. Silvana Curto and Massimo de Nardo the new entrepreneurs of Bacchus, have chosen a chameleon as symbol for their winery, it represents the adaptability of their Wine, of the human beings and their own adaptability. In fact Silvana and Massimo, gave up their “previous” life in big cities such as Munich and Milan and their previous lifestyle with continuous travelling all over the world, to dedicate themselves to the family tradition of the Prosecco di Valdobbiadene e Conegliano.
Silvana and Massimo don’t lack in passion and satisfactions. One their first goals is to obtain the Wine-Symbol of their country with art but using the best technological infrastructures to treat in the most gently way their grapes. They also follow personally every step in the creation of their Wine, to guarantee the best Prosecco at the best price. Already two important Sparkling Wine Awards in 2004 and 2005 have been won by this young winery.
With the winery they own 80,000 sqm of vineyard in the best south side on the hills of the Prosecco Valdobbiadene Conegliano DOC area. An old farm house, unique in his style, is also part of the property.
The winery is located in a picturesque landscape in the middle of the vineyards, on the back the Grappa and Pianezze Mountains divided by the motherly named river “La Piave”, well-known and loved by Ernest Hemingway. In the winery the “connoisseur” can appreciate in the beautiful tasting room, dominating the vineyards, the history and the pleasant bouquet of the Prosecco, defined by the Daily Telegraph “The prince of the bubbles”.
