| Everything in the Niessl family has revolved around viticulture for generations. The great-grandfather of the current owner was a cask maker, the father acquired in addition a licence for selling wine and Franz Niessl is a graduate of the Klosterneuburg School of Oenology. The naturally green covered vineyards are provided with nutrients by means of green manuring and the vines display shoot cutting. |
